Personal Notes:

Hers was a difficult birth. She loved to read, go to the theater, did not like to cook and was very active in the family business. She, her husband and 4 of their children were sent to Gurs. She managed to get 2 of her children (Jacob and ?) to America. She escaped with her baby Joel, helped by her sister Frieda in Strasbourg. Her husband Nathan refused to leave the camp and was sent to Auschwitz.
